Audio-Visual Coordinator Ryan Linehan
Ryan graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1999, and he has since worked in the recording industry, both in Los Angeles and New York, under the LORD'S provision. In the past, Ryan has re-mixed mainstream music for popular DJs in Los Angeles and in Europe. Currently, Ryan works with film and television composers in Holywood. He finds great spiritual fulfillment in striving to be more like Christ amidst the challenging environments he finds himself in.
Ryan has had the privilege to work with many Vineyard churches, some of which include Cambridge Vineyard in Boston, Pomona Vineyard in California, and Chennai Vineyard in India, within all of which he designed and built sound systems. Ryan has been a part of the Westside Vineyard since August 2000, and he joined the staff as head of the Audio-Visual ministry team in 2003. Ryan enjoys mixing and operating sound at the Vineyard, and he loves equipping people with the skills they need to become successful sound engineers. He also strives to make sure that people under his ministry team "do their best for the LORD and are able to worship creatively through the Holy Spirit" during services.
Ryan has "awesome parents and a sister whom (he) loves a bunch". He frequently visits them in Northern California, The Netherlands, and Colorado, respectively. Ryan reports a "tight" relationship with his dad, with whom he converses daily via cellular telephone.
Some additional "cool tidbits" of information about Ryan are his proficiency in playing guitar, piano, beatboxing and bass. His favorite instrument to listen to, however, is the bass clarinet. When at home, Ryan will cook up a meal "that can rival Martha Stewart or Julia Child" thanks to his parents' training. Ryan loves snow skiing, traveling, tennis, golf, and STILL coloring his hair ... which changes often. He loves Psalm 91 and heeds James 3:6 as much as possible.
